Title: Maintenance Technician
Compensation: $29-$32/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: 2nd shift
Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily maintenance and troubleshoot production and packaging equipment
• Repair and rebuild mechanical systems and components
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance tasks
• Support and train operators on mechanical systems and equipment
• Work on systems such as extruders, dryers, cartoners, baggers, palletizers, HVAC, chillers, boilers, and more
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve recurring issues
• Maintain facility utilities like compressed air and thermal fluid systems
• Follow safety protocols and complete documentation for maintenance activities

What you need for this position:

• High school diploma or GED plus one of the following: associate degree in a technical field or has completed an apprenticeship in a mechanical/electrical trade
• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance or mechanical experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints (preferred)
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
