Job Details
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery
- Conduct equipment testing and make necessary adjustments to improve performance
- Support installation and startup of new equipment
- Troubleshoot conveyors, pumps, plumbing systems, and material handling equipment
- Operate production-related equipment as needed
- Maintain spare parts inventory and document maintenance activities
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
- Assist with training and mentoring junior maintenance personnel
- Promote workplace safety and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, reliability, and productivity
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience with:
- Pipe fitting, pump repair, and industrial plumbing
- Conveyor systems and material handling equipment
- Preventative maintenance programs
- Packaging equipment such as case erectors, case sealers, and palletizers
- Liquid filling equipment
- General facility and building maintenance
- Working knowledge of electrical systems including 110V, 220V, and 480V power
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs in a production setting
- Computer skills for documentation, reporting, and maintenance tracking
Physical & Work Environment
- Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Stand and walk throughout the shift
- Work in a manufacturing facility with varying temperatures
- Exposure to moving machinery, elevated work areas, loud noise levels, and industrial environments
- Must be able to wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures
