Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a growing food and beverage manufacturing facility in Menomonie, Wisconsin. You’ll perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyors, fillers, pumps, and hydraulic systems to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a Journeyman Card or 4+ years of hands-on experience, and the ability to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Card or 4+ years mechanical maintenance experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Ability to read mechanical prints and drawings.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on call.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, fillers, and case erectors.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and test equipment such as vibration meters and laser alignment systems.
• Maintain accurate work logs in the CMMS for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Support production by maximizing equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and GMP; collaborate for a safe workplace.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs, and improvements to keep equipment operating at required efficiency levels.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including fillers, conveyors, and case erectors.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and test equipment such as vibration meters and laser alignment systems.
• Maintain accurate work logs and documentation using the CMMS work order system for preventive maintenance, equipment modifications, and emergency repairs.
• Support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Card or 4+ years of relevant mechanical maintenance experience (or equivalent military experience).
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints, diagrams, and drawings.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on call as needed to support production.
