Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Technician to serve as the first line of response for equipment issues, primarily in the maintenance workshop. You’ll perform inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and carry out preventive and emergency repairs to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Based in the workshop with mobility to the production floor, you will support the Maintenance and Plant Operations Teams and may handle welding, motor testing, and diagnostic tasks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must obtain Lock Out/Tag Out, Pallet Jack and Forklift certifications.
• Pass the IMPACT level 2 test with a minimum score of 40.
• Prefer 1+ years of maintenance experience with basic welding and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsabilités

• Identify and apply standard symbols used in industrial documentation.
• Diagnose and repair drive-related issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot bearing failures.
• Assist in motor testing, diagnostics, and basic repairs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical circuits using Ohm’s Law and Kirchhoff’s Laws.
• Safely use multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
• Execute welding operations following safety and quality standards.
• Interpret welding symbols and apply appropriate techniques for repairs and fabrication.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Maintenance and Plant Operations Teams.
