Job summary

Westrock Company, Inc. in Lewisburg, TN is seeking a maintenance technician for the 2nd shift. Hours are 2:45pm-11pm with potential overtime; pay rate depends on experience and knowledge. Benefits start day one, including medical/dental/vision, plus vacation, tuition assistance and leave options.

The role requires advanced mechanical and technical skills, ability to read manuals, and the capacity to troubleshoot complex production equipment to minimize downtime and maintain safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work effectively with all areas of the plant and understand the manufacturing process.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls/work orders with urgency.
• Inspect, identify, and repair complex mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Repair and maintain piping systems and assemble hoses.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust.
• Use hand and power tools and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair other electrical equipment maintaining production, safety and output.
• Other duties as needed.

Essential Functions:

Responsibilities include responding with urgency to emergency calls/work orders, plan and execute assigned work orders. Inspect, identify, and repair complex mechanical/electrical equipment. Repairing and maintaining piping systems and assembling hoses with fittings, Basic fabrication and welding and ability to follow prints. Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Use a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Troubleshooting and repairing other electrical equipment that maintains production, Safety, quality, output, and reduces downtime on production lines in accordance with codes, regulations, and specifications. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
