Your Role

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Maintenance Calibration Technician 2 for the St. Louis Manufacturing Facility. This position is responsible for performing calibration activities, instrumentation repair, and ensuring these activities meet user’s and manufacturer’s requirements as well as site quality standards.

This position is based in St. Louis at 3500 Dekalb Street.

Responsibilities
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment as per site requirements
  • Establish calibration procedures for various types and brands of lab and production equipment
  • Review calibration certificates generated by contractors for accuracy, completeness, and technical compliance
  • Coordinate calibration activities with vendors
  • Maintain calibration schedules to prevent overdue events
  • Ensure metrology standards are maintained in a controlled and calibrated state
  • Write and execute effective calibration procedures aligned with industry best practices
  • Support validation engineers with equipment qualification and commissioning activities
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication
  • Resolve technical issues independently and develop mitigation plans
  • Utilize Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint effectively
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in calibration activities and scheduling vendor calibrations
  • Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or trade school degree in controls, automation, or related field
  • Additional 2+ years of experience in calibration activities and vendor coordination
