Element Resources in Forest City, Missouri, is hiring for a maintenance technician to repair and upkeep plant and mobile equipment. Starting pay ranges from $30.00 to $35.19 per hour, with shift differentials and an attendance bonus, plus a $2,500 sign-on and floating holidays after probation.

Qualifications

• High degree of welding experience and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to organize and plan workflow.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer skills.
• Certification in the use of the following mobile equipment (training will be provided if necessary): Crane, Forklift, Loader, Manlift.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of all plant and mobile equipment.
• Communicate with Breaker, Refining, Maintenance, QA/lab, and other departments to ensure continual process flow.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, flue pipes, water lines, and hydraulic systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair all piping in the facility.
• Install, maintain, and repair valves, hoses, fittings, bearings, gauges, and meters in the facility.
• Weld and repair all metal units in the facility.
• Fabricate equipment and parts.
