Job summary

Element Resources in Forest City, Missouri is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and maintain plant and equipment across the facility. The role offers a starting pay of $30.00–$35.19 per hour plus shift differentials and a weekly attendance bonus.

You’ll collaborate across teams to keep processes flowing, perform welding and fabrication, install and repair piping, valves, and motors, and obtain mobile equipment certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• High degree of welding experience and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to organize and plan workflow.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer skills.
• Certification in the use of mobile equipment (training provided): Crane, Forklift, Loader, Manlift.
• Must pass the pre-employment assessment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of all plant and mobile equipment.
• Communicate with Breaker, Refining, Maintenance, QA/lab, and other departments to ensure continual process flow.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, flue pipes, water lines, and hydraulic systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair all piping in the facility.
• Install, maintain, and repair valves, hoses, fittings, bearings, gauges, and meters in the facility.
• Weld and repair all metal units in the facility.
• Fabricate equipment and parts.
