Job summary

Daily’s Premium Meats LLC in Saint Joseph, MO, seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration. You will read manuals, troubleshoot, and ensure lines stay operational.

Five years in industrial maintenance, GMP knowledge, English proficiency, and experience with forklifts, Excel, and electrical systems up to 480V are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in an industrial maintenance capacity preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and food manufacturing best practices preferred.
• Mandatory ability to read, understand, and write in English.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and make routine decisions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, schematics, and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Provide emergency repairs to keep production lines running.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and replace failed components.
• Diagnose issues and repair or replace parts as required.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment using blueprints and measuring tools.
• Maintain control systems and 480V electrical knowledge.
