A Maintenance Technician II oversees the day‑to‑day maintenance operations of assigned properties. The role ensures the upkeep and safety of the property and works alongside the team in indoor and outdoor environments, adapting to unplanned events while remaining resourceful and efficient. The technician coordinates with the Property Management team to ensure safe, appropriate and sanitary housing for residents.
Location: Canterbury Apartments, Big Spring, TX 79720.
This position reports directly to the Community Manager and does not have supervisory responsibilities.
The salary range for this position is $20.00 – $24.20 outside of California. The role is full‑time, non‑exempt, and offers a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance; 8% employer contribution for retirement; and other standard benefits.
Requires extensive physical exertion, prolonged walking, bending, climbing, manual manipulation, use of hand tools, lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs, as well as continual sitting, typing, and repetitive computer use for up to 8 hours a day. Frequent communication with others is required. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
