Job summary
Copeland in Rushville, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift to maintain production equipment uptime and facility systems. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing maintenance, knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, and the ability to operate lifts and basic fabrication tools. We offer training and safety gear, with tools provided by the company.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of work experience in manufacturing maintenance or equivalent.
- Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical operations.
- Knowledge of 480V three-phase, control power and motor starters.
- Strong troubleshooting and blueprint-reading skills.
- Ability to operate lifts and fabrication tools with safety.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose machine malfunctions and perform repairs to restore uptime.
- Install, repair, rebuild and maintain facility equipment.
- Perform minor fabrication using mills, lathes and grinders.
- Support manufacturing processes and maintain safety standards.
- Complete paperwork and quality records; maintain PLCs/CNC control circuits.
