Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Tech for 1st shift in Sherman, TX. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plant equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to work overtime as needed. Wage for this role is Associate 5 with a shift differential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration.
• No relocation benefit; Sherman, TX area only.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in SQDCI (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory).
• Collaborate with team to resolve issues and follow up on preventative actions.
• Assist team with technical issues and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain and operate equipment safely and effectively.
• Install and maintain equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and troubleshoot repairs.
• Operate lifts and perform other duties as assigned.
