Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division in Youngsville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift to join our team. The role focuses on troubleshooting equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting manufacturing facilities.

Qualified applicants have a High School diploma or GED and at least 5 years of maintenance experience. Relocation not offered; candidates in a 50-mile radius considered. The position offers benefits, overtime, and opportunities for career progression.

The pay rate for this position is $27 per hour.

What you’ll do:

• Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs.

• Requisition parts, materials, labor and support to complete job tasks.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution.
• Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Welding experience and / or certifications
• Hazardous waste management / Hazardous waste operations emergency response
• Lock Out / Tag Out Certified
• HVAC training and / or certifications
• Basic experience with computers and Microsoft Office.

Position Criteria:

• Knowledge of electrical systems and devices
• Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
