Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 1st shift in South Milwaukee, WI. The role involves diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting facility operations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one (1) year of hands-on experience in manufacturing, military, maintenance, or a related technical field, or completion of an accredited Maintenance Technician certification program.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery, equipment, tools, and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
• Make necessary adjustments, repairs, and equipment modifications as required.
• Conduct general facility maintenance, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and related building repairs.
• Support the operation and maintenance of the in-house wastewater treatment system.
• Safely operate industrial vehicles and equipment used for material handling, machine relocation, and rigging activities.
• Assist with the installation, setup, relocation, and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date maintenance records and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all environmental, health, and safety standards.

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - 1st Shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $31.00 per hour. The hours for this shift are 6:30 am - 2:30 pm.

Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery, equipment, tools, and components.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one (1) year of hands-on experience in manufacturing, military, maintenance, or a related technical field, or completion of an accredited Maintenance Technician certification program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance from an accredited technical college or institution.
• Experience performing maintenance on industrial furnaces and related thermal processing equipment.
• Experience supporting maintenance operations within an injection molding manufacturing environment.
