Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Maintenance Technician in New York to repair and maintain injection molding machinery and related equipment. You will handle mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs and assist with building maintenance and process improvements.

The role requires experience with injection molding, pneumatics and PLC logic, with a willingness to work overtime as needed. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years related experience.
  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, basic electrical, and PLC logic preferred.
  • Injection molding industry experience preferred.

  • Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove and replace defective parts.
  • Research part availability and initiate purchase orders for needed repair parts as required.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment related to injection molding.
  • Perform building maintenance as required.
  • Support continuous improvement through LEAN and HPT.
  • Overtime may be required.

Position Summary

Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as injection molding machines, mold heaters, sprue pickers, conveyors, dryers, grinders, and loaders.

  • A minimum of 6 years related experience required.
  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident status required.
  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, basic electrical, and PLC logic is preferred.
  • Injection molding industry experience preferred.
  • Strong communications and troubleshooting skills.
Conditions of Employment

This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule
  • Pay Range: $25.75/hr to $38.75/hr
