Job summary

G.A. Richards Group is seeking a maintenance technician to safely perform preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled repairs on machinery and equipment used in production.

The role requires ability to lead maintenance staff or coordinate with contractors, and to perform a range of mechanical tasks within a manufacturing setting. You will manage preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and inspect components for wear.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 3–5 years related experience, or any combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

• Inspect mechanical components of vehicles to identify problems

Job description

Pay Range: $23 - $30/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday - 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Summary: Safely perform preventative, scheduled and unscheduled repairs on machinery and mechanical equipment or structure of a production and manufacturing process/buildings. Ability to lead and influence maintenance personnel on staff or in association with contracted vendors. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.
• Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair and troubleshoot
• Inspect mechanical components of vehicles to identify problems
• Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear
• Read technical information needed to perform maintenance or repairs
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• May train or supervise work of other maintenance or technical employees

Education and/or Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or any combination of education and experience.
