Job summary

Westover Companies in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our apartment community. This full-time role supports routine service requests, turnovers, and preventative maintenance to keep units and common areas in excellent condition.

The ideal candidate uses standard hand and power tools safely, can lift heavy items, and works on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, a $1000 sign-on bonus, weekly pay, and ongoing training

Qualifications

• Demonstrate the safe use of standard hand and power tools.
• Lift heavy items (water heaters, appliances, salt, etc.).
• Shovel and salt as required.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of building trades and safety protocols.
• Work on ladders/roofs following safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Exhibiting strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer
• Communicating and working well with both leasing and maintenance staff members
• Always representing the company in a professional and courteous manner
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, service requests, turnovers, preventative maintenance to units and common areas as well as any other duties assigned
• Sharing on-call responsibility
• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical and plumbing related issues; providing own basic hand tools
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Attending in-house training as required
• Maintaining current preventative maintenance property logs
