Job summary

Capital Vacations, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform preventive maintenance, pool upkeep, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safety across resort facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Experience in timeshare resort maintenance is a plus.
• Knowledge of pool upkeep and essential maintenance tools.
• Able to multitask and handle maintenance issues.
• Must be available Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property upkeep according to SOPs.
• Order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical repairs.
• Operate and maintain heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
• Inspect pools and related equipment; monitor chemical levels.
• Ensure safety and report issues promptly.

What are you motivated by We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities Your primary focus will be on preventive maintenance pool upkeeping troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure safety If you have a strong background in maintenance and are passionate about providing exceptional service we would love for you to join our team What youre great at Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations Maintain the upkeep of the property Maintain property based on standard operating procedures Determine the necessary materials equipment and supplies Order all supplies promptly to complete projects Responsible for some construction painting electrical and plumbing Perform general repairs as needed such as painting constructing and patching walls security hardware and landscaping Perform a variety of skilled work in maintenance repairs including carpentry plumbing filter maintenance and light fixture maintenance Coordinate or inspect operate and maintain the heating cooling and ventilation systems Perform routine cleaning upkeep and maintenance of resort swimming pools spas and surrounding pool areas Monitor and maintain proper pool water levels and cleanliness in accordance with established operating procedures Inspect and perform routine maintenance of pool equipment pumps filters heaters valves skimmers and related systems Test and monitor pool water chemistry and maintain appropriate chemical levels in accordance with established procedures and applicable requirements Safely handle store and use pool chemicals in accordance with company safety procedures and manufacturer instructions Remove debris and maintain the cleanliness of pool decks drains skimmers and other pool area surfaces Inspect pool areas for safety and maintenance concerns including damaged equipment fixtures fencing gates drains and surrounding surfaces and promptly report or correct issues as appropriate Perform all other duties as assigned Perform all other duties as assigned Responsibilities listed may not include all tasks or apply to all resort locations an official job description will be provided and signed on the first day of employment Capital Vacations is an Equal Opportunity Employer We celebrate diversity and support an inclusive workplace
