Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to support the plant’s equipment and utilities. You will use CMMS to manage scheduled and unscheduled work, uphold GMP and safety standards, and respond quickly to urgent production needs to minimize downtime.

You will read diagrams and manuals to repair, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment, and perform related maintenance tasks to keep the facility running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, utilities and/or related field.
• OSHA 10 Hour training, HAZMAT, ArcFlash, LOTO training are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support the maintenance function using CMMS for scheduled and unscheduled work daily.
• Adhere to safety policies and GMP, maintain sanitary conditions and food safety standards.
• Respond promptly to urgent production needs related to equipment.
• Read and interpret diagrams and manuals to disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment.
• Perform other maintenance tasks to support continuous operation of the plant.

Responsibilities

• UtilizeCMMS to support the maintenance function including review, execution, and documentationof scheduled/unscheduled work daily

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, incorporate safety andhealth in all jobs/tasks by taking personal responsibility to ensurea safe and health workplace

• Respond in an efficient and effective manner to urgent production needs related to equipment

• Adhere to Quality work practices, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP),maintainsanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality ismaintained. Ensure that all policies, procedures, and activities related to Food Safety and Quality are followed andcomplied with, ineffortto reduce process variability.

Effectively read and understand diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specificationsin order todisassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment.

• Perform othermaintenance relatedtasksas neededto support thecontinuous operation of theplant as a whole.

Qualifications

Education Level:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to do basic math

Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance,utilitiesand/or related field

• Prior training and education inthe following:

• OSHA 10 Hour

• HAZMAT

• ArcFlash

• LOTO – Lock Out Tag Out

Skills:

• 2+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance,utilitiesand/or related field

• Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.

• Ability toanticipatework needs and follow through with minimal direction.Must be a self-motivated self-starter.

• Basic Knowledge and understanding offasteners and thread types,belts, sheaves, chains, sprockets,bearings, lubricationstandardsand applications.

• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems including cylinders, valves, manifolds, vacuum systems, airfiltrationand lubrication devices.

• Basic knowledge of pipe fitting, insulation, rigging applications, use of mechanical tools, hand tools, and power tools.
