Location: Woodstock, IL 60098
Pay Rate: $24.00 to $32.00/hr BOE
Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Description:
We’re in search of a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to be part of our heavy manufacturing workforce in Woodstock, IL. The perfect candidate is someone who possesses a comprehensive understanding of maintenance routines, hydraulic systems, and the basics of tools and devices. In this role, as a Maintenance Technician, your schedule will be on first shift, operating from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose the underlying issues of equipment malfunctions and execute necessary repairs.
Carry out repairs, replacements, adjustments, and alignments of machine and equipment components.
Dismantle machinery for part removal and conduct repairs as needed.
Work effectively in physically demanding situations.
Keep detailed and precise records of maintenance activities.
Identify and report any incorrect operations or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Follow all company safety guidelines and proactively identify potential hazards.
Collaborate efficiently within a team setting.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
Experienced in scheduling and performing equipment maintenance.
Proficient in Fork truck and Mobile Equipment diagnosis and repair.
Skills in fabrication.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Knowledgeable in MIG/TIG Welding.
Experience in HVAC systems and plumbing.
Capable of performing electrical diagnostics, including Dielectric withstand tests (hipot test), insulation resistance tests (IR test), and earth continuity tests.
Proficient in oxy-fuel cutting techniques.
Must be willing to work overtime during weekdays and potentially on Saturdays.
