Position Summary:
Under supervision, the Maintenance Technician I is responsible for coordinating daily tasks associated with the assigned Community. Performs a variety of facility and technical tasks that support the needs of residents not limited to on-site maintenance, areas of unit turn, inspection, maintenance, and repair.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to pass the annual lift test. Moderate effort in lifting, moving, operating equipment, standing, and climbing/walking. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, dust and dirt. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and toxic or caustic chemicals. Occasional exposure to heat, cold, fumes, odor, and noise. Seldom exposed to dryness, wetness, vibration, and poor ventilation.
