Job summary

Quality Talent Group supports a global technology company in the building automation and industrial technology industry for a maintenance technician role in a busy plant environment. The position focuses on maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and installing plant machinery and equipment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, disassemble and repair production equipment, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of specialized training in technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers' training program.
• 3-4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in a plant or industrial environment.
• Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, inspects, repairs, moves, and/or installs plant machinery and equipment.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Inspection of condition and operation of plant equipment and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Disassembles and repairs production equipment by replacing worn or broken parts.
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies.
