Job summary

Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replace parts for plant equipment.
• Perform repairs needed for the building.
• Provide routine maintenance on equipment.
• Must have advanced knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Must have some knowledge of cutting welding, fabrication, and tooling.
• Must have basic plumbing skills, including basic plumbing installations such as piping of machinery for hydraulics, water, and air (in addition to restroom plumbing fixtures & piping).
• Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Must be computer literate, proficient with MS Office and maintenance systems.
• Must have the ability to analyze problems, identify options to resolve issues, and share options and recommend sensible solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years of work‑related experience, or qualified by certification.
• Strong skills in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding & plumbing.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and tackle physical tasks daily.

Work Environment

You’ll work in both manufacturing and office environments, using tools and equipment daily. PPE and steel‑toed footwear are required.

Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full‑time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
