Job summary

Bauer Consulting Group, Inc. (The Food Recruiter) in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in a food-processing setting.

You will diagnose and repair equipment, update CMMS records, and perform facilities maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and lighting. PLCs, VFDs, sensors, motors, gears, and welding skills (MIG/TIG/Arc) are valued for this role.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose and repair food processing and packaging equipment.
• Update CMMS in daily maintenance workflow.
• Facilities and grounds maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, lighting.
• Work with PLC, VFD, photo sensors, motors, gears.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and OEM drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience: MIG, TIG, arc welding.
