Job summary
Bauer Consulting Group, Inc. (The Maintenance Recruiter) in West Haven, CT is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment used in food processing and packaging. The role requires CMMS record-keeping, facilities upkeep, and reading blueprints.

Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Hands-on with diagnosing and repairing Food Processing and Packaging equipment.
- Maintain accurate records in CMMS.
- Facilities Maintenance (Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting) and Grounds Maintenance.
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), VFD, and Photo sensors.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics and drawings
- Welding and Fabricating experience: TIG, MIG, Stick.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus
