Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Michigan to repair and rebuild manufacturing machines and provide mechanical, electrical, and technical support across the facility.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, interpret drawings, fabricate components, and perform preventative maintenance with meticulous record-keeping on the night shift (Mon-Fri, 8pm–6am).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years of related experience in the Maintenance field.
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 8pm to 6am.
• Experience working with hydraulics, motors, and pumps.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment independently or with a team.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, manuals, and specs to diagnose problems.
• Fabricate components and apply knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, controls, and machine operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance, complete repairs, and maintain accurate service records.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment independently or as part of a team
• Interpret machinery drawings, schematics, manuals, and specifications to diagnose equipment problems
• Fabricate components and apply knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, controls, and machine operations
• Perform preventative maintenance, complete repairs, and maintain accurate service records
