Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Washington, DC. You will handle a range of maintenance tasks, focusing on quality and resident satisfaction.

Requirements include at least one year of community maintenance experience, knowledge of appliances, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and strong English communication. You will support management, ensure safety, and help maintain property standards and curb appeal.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience in a community setting.
• Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general building maintenance.
• Proficient in writing, speaking and understanding the English language.
• Able to use computers and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Own and help drive the preservation of the property's physical attributes.
• Provide complete support to management in upholding standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all safety measures are enforced.
• Assist in maintaining the shop, equipment, inventory control and security.
• Be an inspector to ensure curb appeal and property looks its best.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and teammates.
