Berkshire Residential Investments in Massachusetts is hiring for an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor. You will support the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, coordinate repairs, supervise maintenance staff, and ensure safety and quality in the community.

The role emphasizes resident service, teamwork, and adherence to standards. A base salary range is anticipated, with factors like experience guiding final placement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in maintenance related skills
• Ability to adapt to new technologies
• Proficient in writing, speaking and understanding English
• Able to use computers and related applications
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction
• Sense of humor — seriously be funny

Responsibilities

• Provide complete support to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in upholding community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures
• Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services
• Assist Maintenance Technicians as required to meet deadlines
• Ensure that all safety measures are enforced
• Schedule daily activities with Maintenance Supervisor, monitoring quality and quantity
• Report major repairs and requisitions to Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager before expenditures
• Maintain shop, equipment, supplies, inventory control, and key security
• Inspect and ensure models and routes look their best
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and teammates

So, here are a few of the things that we believe are essential to being the best Assistant Maintenance Supervisor there is:

• Provide complete support to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in upholding community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures
• Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services
• Assists Maintenance Technicians as required to meet deadlines
• Ensure that all safety measures are enforced
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to schedule daily activities efficiently, monitoring for quality and quantity
• Report all major repairs and need requisitions to Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager prior to any expenditure of funds
• Maintain shop, company equipment, ample supplies, inventory control, and ensure key security
• Be an inspector! Tour routes and models are your showcase; make sure they look their best!
• Provide excellent customer service to all prospective and existing residents and your teammates

• You have one (1) year experience in all maintenance related skills
• You’ve proven your ability to adapt to new technologies
• You have the ability to adapt to new technologies
• You are proficient in writing, speaking and understanding the English language
• You are able to use computers and related applications
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction
• Have a sense of humor – seriously be funny!

Current anticipated annual base salary range: $68,800 - $79,500.Base salary within the range will be determined by various factors including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills and qualifications.
