Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments in Westborough, MA, is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to be the Maintenance Supervisor's right-hand. You will be a cheerful, performance-driven, resident-focused mentor who strives for quality and excellence in service.

Responsibilities include supporting the Property Manager, coordinating make-ready repairs, enforcing safety, scheduling daily activities, and reporting expenditures. Prior experience and a strong English level are required.

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance-related experience is required.
• Proven ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Proficient in writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Able to use computers and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete support to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in upholding community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Inspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians as required to meet deadlines.
• Ensure that all safety measures are enforced.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to schedule daily activities efficiently, monitoring for quality and quantity.
• Report all major repairs and requisitions to Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager prior to any expenditure of funds.
• Maintain shop, company equipment, ample supplies, inventory control, and ensure key security.
• Be an inspector; tour routes and models to showcase them and ensure they look their best.
• Provide excellent customer service to all residents and teammates.

• You have one (1) year experience in all maintenance related skills
• You've proven your ability to adapt to new technologies
• You have the ability to adapt to new technologies
• You are proficient in writing, speaking and understanding the English language
• You are able to use computers and related applications
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction
• Have a sense of humor – seriously be funny!
  
  

Current anticipated annual base salary range: $68,800 - $79,500. Base salary within the range will be determined by various factors including but not limited to the individual\'s experience, skills and qualifications.
