Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical Maintenance, or related technical training preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, and equipment manuals.
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license required.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, or Electro-Mechanical Technician preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing production machinery, industrial equipment, and automated manufacturing systems.
- Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and fabrication systems.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and computer-controlled equipment.
- Experience with welding, including MIG, ARC, and Gas Welding.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, machine alignment, calibration, and equipment installation.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance tools, equipment, and replacement parts.
- Ability to work around moving machinery, production equipment, and industrial environments.
- Capability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring devices safely.
Job Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment inspections on industrial production and processing machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated manufacturing systems to minimize downtime.
- Install, replace, align, and adjust machinery, equipment, electrical components, plumbing systems, and production controls.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical manuals to complete maintenance activities.
- Fabricate, assemble, disassemble, and repair machine components using welding, machining, and mechanical repair techniques.
- Conduct equipment testing, calibrations, safety inspections, and performance evaluations to ensure reliable operation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and repair documentation.
- Follow all safety policies, environmental regulations, and company procedures while supporting production operations.
