Planet Fitness, Inc. is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to service clubs around the greater Raleigh, NC area. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing fitness equipment while ensuring safety regulations are followed.

You will also manage upkeep of facilities, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and alarm systems. The ideal candidate will be able to be on call for maintenance emergencies, travel as needed, and hold a valid driver's license.

• Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Proficiency with tools and common appliances.
• Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds.
• On-call for maintenance emergencies including nights, mornings and weekends.

Planet Fitness is looking for a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to service our clubs around the greater Raleigh, NC area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing, Maintaining and Repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
• Inspection of alarm systems
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergency's
• Available of nights and weekends
• Travel will be necessary meaning a valid driver's license will be needed. Vehicle transportation will be provided by the company
• Reimbursement will also be provided for travel time

Job Position Requirements:

• Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systems
• Proficiency with tools as well as common appliances and devices
• Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds
• Maintaining excellent condition of company vehicle
• Strong communication skills
• Must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings and weekends
