Planet Fitness, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to service clubs in the greater Raleigh, NC area. The role requires hands-on maintenance of fitness equipment and facilities, with on-call duties and travel as needed.

The ideal candidate will have electrical and plumbing knowledge, tool proficiency, and strong communication skills to support a fast-growing, friendly gym culture.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge about electrical, plumbing and other systems.
• Proficiency with tools as well as common appliances and devices.
• Ability to lift items weighing 75 pounds.
• Strong communication skills; must be on call for maintenance emergencies, including nights, early mornings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license; required travel and company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations.
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all locations.
• Inspection of alarm systems.
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed.
• On-call for maintenance emergencies, including nights and weekends; travel may be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing, Maintaining and Repairing fitness equipment independently while abiding by safety regulations
• Upkeep of painting, landscaping, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing for all location
• Inspection of alarm systems
• Partnering with other companies to schedule maintenance as needed
• Ability to be on call for maintenance emergency's
• Available of nights and weekends
• Travel will be necessary meaning a valid driver's license will be needed. Vehicle transportation will be provided by the company
• Reimbursement will also be provided for travel time
