The Maintenance Technician Role at Fox Pointe

We’re seeking a skilled maintenance technician responsible for apartment and property maintenance duties, ensuring high standards of customer service and curb appeal.

• Perform repairs including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and more.
• Handle general carpentry tasks such as drywall repair, cabinet replacement, window and door repairs, and tile work.
• Conduct proactive maintenance like painting, lighting, sprinkler systems, and emergency repairs.
• Manage work orders efficiently to meet company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and amenities for safety and cleanliness, addressing issues as needed.
• Assist with emergencies like snow removal, fires, and floods.
• Communicate promptly with maintenance leadership about issues.
• Follow safety protocols and promote risk management.
• Participate in emergency on-call duties, responding within established times.
• Maintain professionalism and foster positive relationships with residents and team members.
• Adhere to all safety and risk management policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform basic math.
• Ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
• Commitment to confidentiality and safety protocols.
