Job summary

HSL Asset Management LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in Tucson, AZ. You will maintain apartment communities, perform repairs, and ensure safety and quality for residents.

The role requires hands-on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance, plus reliable transportation. You’ll join a team that values teamwork, growth, and excellent resident service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational certification.
• Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance repair, Carpentry and general maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service requests and maintenance repairs promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry and general maintenance issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including make-ready and quality inspections.
• Maintain community amenities, common areas and grounds to company standards.
• Identify and address safety concerns throughout the property.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate with management and residents.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor and Community Director to deliver resident service.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our apartment community. Daily responsibilities include:
