Job summary

HSL Asset Management LLC in Marana, AZ is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to keep our apartment communities safe, beautiful, and operating at their best. You will perform service requests, repairs, and prepare homes for new residents.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, 1+ year experience, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Director, with on-call rotation and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational certification.
• Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation for business-related responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance repair, Carpentry, General building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service requests and maintenance repairs promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including make-ready and quality inspections.
• Maintain community amenities, common areas, and grounds to company standards.
• Identify and address safety concerns throughout the property.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with management and residents.
• Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Director to deliver exceptional resident service.

What You'll Do
