Job summary

HSL Asset Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the appearance, safety and functionality of our apartment communities in Tucson. You will handle make-ready, responsive repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure resident satisfaction and property quality.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in apartment maintenance, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or vocational certification.
• Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation for business responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance repair, Carpentry, and General building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service requests and maintenance repairs promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including make-ready and quality inspections.
• Maintain community amenities, common areas and grounds to company standards.
• Identify and address safety concerns throughout the property.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with management and residents.
• Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Director to deliver exceptional resident service.

What You'll Do
