Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational certification.
• 1 year of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform service requests and maintenance repairs promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including make-ready and quality inspections.
• Maintain community amenities, common areas, and grounds to company standards.
• Identify and address safety concerns throughout the property.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate with management and residents.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Director to deliver excellent resident service.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of our apartment community. Daily responsibilities include:

We're looking for someone who has:

• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational certification
• Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation for business-related responsibilities
• Working knowledge of:
  • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Appliance repair
  • Carpentry
  • General building maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
