Job summary

Wallick Communities in Toledo, OH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage day-to-day maintenance and maintain the community environment.

The role requires supervisory experience, 2+ years maintenance in senior living, strong customer service, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of power tools. We offer comprehensive benefits and an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years in a supervisory role
• 2 or more years of maintenance experience, ideally in a Senior Living setting
• You can provide great customer service
• Proficient using Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and experience with the use of power tools
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents and family members
• Ability to apply basic math skills
• Make routine decisions requiring minimal judgment which may affect internal department

Responsibilities

• Complete building work orders and service requests as assigned.
• Paint and assist with the upkeep of the grounds including landscaping.
• Reports all mechanical failure or negative conditions as observed in assigned area to Maintenance Director.
• Fix fixtures, heating/cooling units, etc.
• Maintain maintenance equipment.
• Perform day-to-day maintenance functions for the community to include carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical & HVAC.
• Maintain the physical appearance of the community

The work - How you will contribute
