Job summary

Wallick Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Grove City, OH for a full-time role at The Ashford of Grove City. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered, with responsibilities spanning building work orders, grounds upkeep, and daily maintenance tasks to keep the community safe and inviting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED desirable.
  • Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with the use of power tools.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents and family members.
  • Ability to apply basic math skills.
  • Make routine decisions requiring minimal judgment which may affect internal department.

Responsibilities

  • Complete building work orders and service requests as assigned.
  • Paint and assist with the upkeep of the grounds including landscaping.
  • Reports all mechanical failure or negative conditions as observed in assigned area to Maintenance Director.
  • Fix fixtures, heating/cooling units, etc.
  • Maintain maintenance equipment.
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance functions for the community to include carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical & HVAC.
  • Maintain the physical appearance of the community.

What You’ll Do
