Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure plumbing, building and grounds maintenance runs efficiently in Temple, TX. The role requires a High School diploma and 1–3 years of related experience, with MIG welding capability and the ability to operate a hoist and forklift.

You will complete work orders, assist with repairs, and follow environmental specifications while working in a fast-paced team environment on site.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous shop/manufacturing/mechanical knowledge required.
• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Experience with MIG welding is required.
• Ability to operate hoist and forklift safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on plumbing, building, and grounds as directed.
• Complete work orders and facility assignments in a timely manner.
• Assist with construction tasks such as roof repair and office renovations.

Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring Sunbelt Solomon’s plumbing, building , and ground s maintenance is operating efficiently to conduct daily operations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to safely operate equipment such as a hoist and forklift.
• Completes work orders, facility assignments as directed.
• Assists with plumbing, building and grounds maintenance.
• Complete construction tasks such as roof repair and office renovations.
• Follow all environmental specifications for the area.

Requirements

• HS Diploma, required.
• 1-3 years previous shop/manufacturing/mechanical knowledge, required.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and troubleshooting, preferred.
• Heavy experience utilizing shop tools for projects, required.
• Ability to MIG weld, required.
• Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
• Help team members resolve questions and help with the workload.
