Job summary

Jobot is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician in Tallmadge, OH to support daily production by maintaining conveyors, pumps, motors, and controls on-site in a manufacturing setting. You will diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults, perform preventive maintenance, and help implement reliability improvements alongside production and engineering teams.

Qualifications

We are a midsized manufacturer supporting consumer brands in the nutritional supplement and personal-care industries. Our business combines private-label and contract manufacturing with packaging and order fulfillment.

Our maintenance team supports the machinery behind daily production, including conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and controls. This second-shift position handles equipment repairs and preventive maintenance while contributing to installations, upgrades, and improvements that reduce recurring breakdowns.

Job Details

• Hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial production, with several years preferred; independently troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
• Diagnose and repair motors, sensors, controls, wiring, and electrical panels using electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, pumps, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic components; respond to breakdowns and restore equipment operation.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, document repairs, and identify root causes of recurring failures to implement lasting corrective actions.
• Support equipment installations and upgrades, coordinate repairs with production and engineering, and follow lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance.
