Maintenance Technician

Hourly pay rate: $30.15 an hour

Normal Schedule is Monday – Friday 7AM – 3PM

A Day in the Life:

Responsible for the maintenance, repairs and upkeep of plant operational equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Participate and maintain a safe work environment.
2. Regular use of hand tools, power tools, measurement devices including calipers, welders, pipe fitting equipment, cutting torch, etc.
3. Lifting and rigging using cables & slings.
4. Troubleshoot and repair pumps, centrifugal, rotary, and positive displacement pumps.
5. Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plan for and take corrective action; make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
6. Working knowledge of Laser Alignment, Ultrasonic and Lubrication.
7. Timely completion of tasks and work orders with appropriate documentation according to standard operating procedures, applicable standards, guidelines, and policies.
8. Requires strong work ethic, dependability, and a high level of dedication to safety.
9. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
10. Read and understand written maintenance instructions.
11. Must be willing to work a rotating on call schedule.
12. Must be willing to train for advancement.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. 3-5 years or more of major industrial maintenance experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications for welding, electrical training, or industrial maintenance training.
2. Blueprint and electrical schematic reading ability a plus.
