Job Description

Perform service and repairs on all HVAC, refrigeration, and control systems, including electrical component replacement, system diagnosis, furnace and air conditioning module changes, ductless air conditioning and heat pump installation, sheet metal work, refrigeration and condensate services, and PVC venting.

Proactively procure materials to meet client service level agreements, promote and sell HVAC products, provide accurate quotes using the company price book, prepare customer invoicing, and maintain customer information in the database.

Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns, maintain a professional manner and appearance, and consistently adhere to industry standards, codes, regulations, and company directives.

Performs any other job duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical components such as compressors, contactors, motor starters, and relays, diagnosing related electrical or mechanical issues.
• Occasionally replace gas and oil furnaces and split air conditioning systems and install ductless air conditioning and heat pumps.
• Conduct sheet metal installation and transitions, refrigeration, condensate, and PVC venting tasks.
• Procure all material promptly to meet client service level agreements.
• Promote and sell new HVAC products by observing customer equipment and engaging in customer inquiries.
• Use the company service price book to efficiently provide accurate quotes, minimizing lost sales opportunities.
• Prepare customer invoicing and update customer information in the database.
• Maintain competent knowledge of tools and equipment used in facilities and those housed on the company vehicle.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and customer concerns.
• Provide 100% customer satisfaction by exceeding expectations.
• Perform all work to industry standards, maintaining professionalism in appearance and conduct.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives pertaining to building operations and safe work habits.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years HVAC Service Technician work experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi‑task and manage multiple priorities.
• Team player, works well with others.
• Effective communication skills with team members and customers.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, sit, squat, bend, twist, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (and occasionally up to 100 pounds). Must work in roofs, tight spaces, attics, basements, crawl spaces, and in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Climate control certificate in HVAC.
• Experience with Service Titan.

Compensation and Employment

Full‑time position. Salary: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour based on experience.
