• We are hiring immediately for a full-time Maintenance Technician position.
• Location: Fresh & Ready Foods - 108 Stallcup Drive, Sikeston, MO 63801. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm; more details upon interview.
• Requirements: Previous maintenance and mechanical experience required.
• Pay Range: $20.50 to $23.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs a variety of maintenance duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains, repairs, cleans, and operates plant, shops, mechanical areas, exterior grounds, and campus facilities.
• Performs basic maintenance and repairs; contacts supervisors or skilled trade vendors as needed.
• Updates work statuses, timing, and costs using company tech systems.
• Supports fleet maintenance including welding, plumbing, electrical work, food truck kitchen maintenance, vehicle driving, troubleshooting, generator repairs, and general maintenance.
• Assists in minor and routine repairs; reports major issues.
• Cleans sidewalks and parking areas; disposes of trash and debris.
• Operates electrical and gasoline-powered equipment.
• Maintains equipment; performs minor repairs with tools.
• Performs minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, lamp changes, drywall maintenance.
• Responds to emergency problems; performs emergency repairs.
• Maintains logs, performs rounds, completes work orders, tests, and inspections.
• Reads and transmits detailed instructions verbally and in writing.
• Serves on the emergency response team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of related maintenance or groundskeeping experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to heat, noise, dust, dirt, and areas requiring infection control. Ability to meet deadlines and work flexible hours, including weekends and nights, as needed.
