Job summary

The Center for Human Services - Missouri in Sedalia, MO is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to preserve the good condition and functionality of CHS premises. You will collaborate with CHS departments, perform corrective and preventative maintenance, and ensure health and safety compliance to support a safe, efficient environment.

The role requires an associate degree or technical certificate and at least 3 years of maintenance experience; OSHA certification is preferred.

Position Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Collaborates professionally within CHS departments to ensure quality functionality and condition of premises.
  • Practices autonomy when making decisions that are appropriate for independent judgement and consults Manager of Transportation and Maintenance when necessary.
  • Performs corrective and preventative maintenance tasks of great variety with a professional and practical mind and attention to detail.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Accepts and carries out special assignments or duties when requested.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  • Associates Degree, or technical certificate from an accredited college in a related field. 3+ years of maintenance experience. An equivalent combination of experiences and education may be considered.
  • OSHA certified preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Must have valid drivers license.
  • Must provide proof of personal valid vehicle insurance
