Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This hands-on role supports the maintenance and reliability of manufacturing equipment in an aerospace tooling environment. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and repair machinery to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, enjoy working with equipment and tools, and can read technical manuals. This is an on-site, permanent position offering hourly pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventative and routine maintenance to maximize equipment reliability.
• Inspect equipment to identify mechanical issues and potential failures.
• Repair, replace, rebuild, and adjust mechanical components.
• Work with motors, pumps, conveyors, bearings, belts, gearboxes, and other mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic equipment as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment.
• Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment modifications when required.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Assist with installation, relocation, and setup of manufacturing equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and work quickly to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Work with production and engineering teams to identify recurring equipment issues and improve reliability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
