Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Sr. Maintenance Technician to own maintenance and troubleshooting of complex industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will drive equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support precision machining and grinding operations through mechanical, electrical, and fabrication expertise. The role requires hands-on problem-solving and teamwork with engineering and production.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance.
  • Proven expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics.
  • Technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment (electrical and mechanical).
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Fabricate, install, and repair parts using various tools and machines.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and document work.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all types of manufacturing machinery and equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  2. Performing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on a regular basis to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  3. Fabricating, constructing, and installing parts or equipment as required, using various tools and machinery.
  4. Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems, identifying root causes of failures, and implementing effective solutions.
  5. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  6. Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and standards.
  7. Training and mentoring junior technicians, sharing expertise and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  8. Documenting all maintenance work performed, creating detailed reports for management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise in electrical, mechanical, equipment maintenance, fabrication, and hydraulics.
  • A technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficiency in using various tools and machinery for repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
