Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to support high-precision manufacturing equipment. You will assist in preventive maintenance schedules and work across mechanical and electrical systems, often without complete documentation, using reverse engineering techniques.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing/R&D, strong discipline in cleanroom practices, and familiarity with metrology tools, deposition processes, and PLC interfaces.

Qualifications

• 2 years hands-on experience in manufacturing or R&D.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude; familiarity with manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work without complete documentation, applying reverse engineering.
• Understanding of contamination control, cleanroom standards, or precision metrology tools (preferred).
• Experience with plating processes, vacuum testing, thin/thick film deposition, sensors, automation, or PLC interfaces.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Technical certifications in maintenance, controls, or industrial systems preferred.
• Licensed electrician preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive maintenance schedules of production equipment.
• Support manufacturing and R&D teams with maintenance tasks.
• Operate, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Apply reverse engineering to diagnose issues in complex equipment.
• Document work performed and communicate findings to teams.
