Job summary

Employvision Inc. in Sandston, VA seeks a hands-on maintenance technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility machinery, troubleshoot faults, and write or update SOPs and JSAs.

You will complete daily maintenance logs, lock out tag out procedures, communicate with operators across shifts, and keep work areas and tools secure.

Additional duties include PLC programming, on-the-job training for new employees, and ordering parts as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.
• Advanced skills in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, piping, and/or PLC programming are required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.

• Program Programming Logic Controller (PLCs).
• Provide on-line job training for new employees.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced skills required in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, piping systems, and/or PLC programming.
