Maintenance Technician – Town and Country Apartments | San Diego, CA

What We Are Looking For:

We seek a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Town and Country Apartments in San Diego, CA. You will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence, curb appeal, and delivering superior service to residents, supporting all aspects of property maintenance including upkeep, repairs, and turnovers. This is a full-time position with benefits, paying $19.00 - $20.00/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Handle resident service requests related to apartment maintenance, ensuring quick and professional resolution.
• Oversee turnovers, including inspections, repairs, and cleaning to prepare units for new residents.
• Maintain community curb appeal through landscaping and exterior upkeep.
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and property management staff.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance.
• Ensure safety compliance in all activities.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Who You Are (Requirements):

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or similar, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for service.
• Flexible schedule and ability to participate in on-call rotations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
